Guestlist Anyone?
Things are starting to gain momentum for us at the moment. Don't get me wrong, it's a big ocean but we're all doggy paddling at quite a reasonable rate, talking to some great venues and gaining gigs in places Like the Barfly in Camden, the Roadhouse in Manchester and the Malt Cross in Nottingham. We were recently invited to support Juan Zelada at the Bodega Social in Nottingham where we played to one of our biggest crowds yet. At times It can feel like your stuck in the mud, stepping on the gas but the wheels simply spin and you don't move. Gaining traction is about keeping in touch with the people who like your stuff and we feel like we're starting to build a core fan base which is growing week by week.
More people are interacting with us, suggesting venues we should play and even contacting them on our behalf. The support is really important to us as it's such a massive task trying to launch your brand as an unknown band (see what I did there).
We have plans which we are in the process of implementing but at the centre of everything we want to achieve are the people who are listening to our songs, coming to our gigs and spreading the word. We want to have as much contact and interaction with our fans as possible. If you have 2 minutes, we'd really appreciate it if you could click the lovely glittery link at the top right of the page and sign up for our TLC Members page. We only want a couple of details and we'll let you know when we're gigging in your area so you can come and soak up some some melodic vibes and then join us for a few beers after. We'll also make sure that you're on the guest list for any of the gigs we contact you about (or you contact us about)!
